Fuck everything.
Today I had a chiropractor appointment at9:15am, and it was the start of a horrible day. I hate having to bike in a hurry. I hate having to leave the house during rush hour. I hate when there is that low fog that collects all the car smog and lets it hang in the air. I hate car drivers.
My friend Souz pointed out something to me yesterday- what if the only people who drove were using their vehicles for work (ie, gardeners, housecleaners, bus drivers, contractors)? I prefer to think of it this way: what if people only drove if they were carrying more stuff than they could bring on the bus or train?
So I get to the chiropractor's in one piece. I tried to talk to her about how she didn't have to drive her SUV all the way to work. "But I had five kids in the carpool!" Well, great, then leave the fucking car in the school parking lot! "But there's no parking at the school, there just isn't!" Fuck you.
So then I had to go from there to my psychologist's, via Berkeley Bowl, where I spent nearly $6 on a breakfast burrito that leaked all over my new shirt. Great. Another lady who drove to work, and lots of crazy people yelling at themselves in the lobby. The receptionist asked how I was doing today, and I said, "angry." I think I am going to be my psychologist's first turned-down applicant for social security disability or whatever, based on what I am hearing, and the fact that I haven't been able to get anyone to fill out this form (friend's evaluation).
Afterwards I tried to get the fucking chickens back into their pen- no luck. I spent an hour there when I needed to be napping. Then I worked on some website stuff and lots of stuff for the commies- she makes everything so much harder than it needs to be. After all that, I took a 3.5 hour nap.
How the fuck am I supposed to be able to sleep tonight? I biked to the store to get candy, and I went for a walk. Hopefully that helps.
