Well, it's been a long time since I wrote, hasn't it?
Z and I had a nice talk after the failed Valentine's Day matchmaking party that I helped put on. I think it makes sense for us to live together, cuz then we can do things like eat meals together or sleep over in each other's rooms without too much hassle. So we might work on that.
Last night I got this awful headache. I still have it so I guess it is a sinus thing. He woke up this morning all stuffed up and sneezing, and has spent much of the day sleeping. He is so sick that he actually ate breakfast! I wonder if it is because he stirred up a lot of dust when he was going through some things in his room. He, like, won't let me come clean it. Whenever I sleep there I get a great night's sleep, but I also get all stuffed up and coughing (allergies).
Oh, I got those fucking painful swollen lymph nodes in my groin again this week. My housemate who knows a bit about herbs recommended several, and I was able to find these at the sto':
lemon balm, hops, and horsetail. The swelling has gone down and they are less painful.
It rained a lot last week and the day after the biggest rain the kids got cat shit from the yard all over their shoes and clothes. One roommate said that I would probably have to get rid of my cat. OH, REALLY?
We are still trying to figure out this whole roommate thing. We should probably decide today, but there are more people who are calling us and coming to see the house.
There was one woman last week who I thought would be great- she works with kids, is a vegetarian, and has coop living experience. But oh, well. She found another place.
Today we have a whole nother drama- a friend of V's is having a baby today. So we have her 2 kids, 18 and 24 months old. A friend of V's and her partner came over with her 19 month-old to help. So we have 3 extra kids and 2 extra adults. Very interesting. That's the kind of thing I really like about living here, except that I know better than to try to take a nap!
