I swear to god, I am like ready to kill myself or something here.
I overheard my housemate talking to the landlady last night, trying to convince her to put in linoleum somewhere in the house (the upstairs hallway between our bedrooms?). She never mentioned this to me in person. Today when I got home from work I saw a note on the board that says that the landlady and her handyman who does a bit of everything but does not know much about much are coming on Saturday to install linoleum. WHAT?!
So I told the people on the chemical sensitivity email list I am on about this, and they said that if adhesive is used, I should be prepared to stay elsewhere for several days. Great, and I was just worried about the linoleum itself offgassing for several weeks.
I mean, these people are so worried about their kids' health that they are not seeing the dangers that their actions are posing to their kids' health (never mind the vulnerable adults and cats they live with, or the environment!). Ugh!!!!!
What the hell am I supposed to do? Set up a paypal account, maybe? Well, I'm working on it!
